Delicious Dogs Nashville Photography

Get Your Hot Dogs!

Last week I got to photograph one of my favorite restaurant types a hot dog stand. I know what you are thinking there is not much visually interesting about a hot dog stand. This is where you would be wrong. I like to keep my food photography as simple as possible. This shoot was absolutely simple. I typically light my food photography and use reflectors and at least strobe. On this shoot, we got the timing and location just right and we were able to use all natural light. Using hard directional light was right for this food photo shoot. We kept it simple the background for these is a simple white napkin. If you like hot dogs keep scrolling to see two more awesome hot dogs! I love hard light food photography.

Hot Dogs and Baseball

Eating a hot dog on a hot summer day always reminds me of playing little league when I was growing up. A baseball game was never complete until I went to the concession stand and grabbed a "blue" Power Aid and a hot dog topped with nacho cheese. It also brings back memories of my grandparents and eating hot dogs with them at the kitchen table. Food is about relationships. We form strong bonds around food. Food is about relationships.

Food Is About Relationships

Let me know about your relationships and food in the comments. I would love to hear about some of the positive memories that you have of eating when growing up and at family gatherings.
