Fast Pizza Fast Photography

A recent client came to me with a shot list of 29 different products for a food distributer. The client needed a total shot list of a little over 60 deliverable images. I jumped at this opportunity. The client is a food distributer whoo focuses in C-Store pizzas, with a few additional products as well. The client wanted a one day shoot and a fast turnaround. That is a pretty daunting task.

How Did We Do It?

We were able to execute on the clients vision by shooting the products in the distributers facility which included a commercial kitchen for food testing. We were able to enlist some help from the companies own talents to cook the pizzas and style them. Often times I would want to use a professional food stylist. On this particular job the client wanted their pizzas to look exactly like what you would get in a store with no fancy tricks. Using in house talent in this instance saved the client money and proved to be more efficient. Shooting in the clients own commercial kitchen also allowed the full team from marketing and sales to be involved in the process. It allowed me to ensure the client and the agency that we were getting exactly what they needed.

Final Deliverables

The client wanted final deliverables on this shoot to include a 45 degree shot, an overhead, and a detail shot on most items. The client wanted the images clipped out and put on a transparent background so that they could be used in any promotional materials that they come up with. Check them out below!
