It is no secret that donuts are one of my favorite foods. Some of my fondest memories of childhood are from going with my Grandmother early in the morning to get donuts from Koehler's Bakery. It has been almost 20 years since I went to Koehler's Bakery, but I can still remember the scent of the bakery it is right next to a laundromat so it has a rather unique smell. When I was a kid I would always get a Long John and to this day it is my favorite. We would go back home and I would stuff my face with donuts while watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the couch. I was living the life. Keep reading to see more delicious doughnut photos.

About a month ago I was doing a shoot for a restaurant and happened to talk to the owner of Donut Palace. One thing led to another and a few days later I was photographing his donuts. Donut Palace is famous for their Doughsant it is like the famous Cronut that people rave over in NYC, except it might be better. Life is such a cool journey. When I was 5 I never would have guessed that one day I would be taking photos of doughnuts for my job!
