Strawberry Fields Forever
May is strawberry picking month in Tennessee. Luckily for my family, we live right down the road from a strawberry patch. Baety Farms in Murfreesboro is a local century farm that raises, pork, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and corn. Keep scrolling to see more photos of freshly picked strawberries!
The Visit
Visiting Baety Farms is always a treat. They are located right off of Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro, TN. The farm is beautiful and they have an amazing event space. On Tuesday evenings through the spring and summer, they have food trucks lined up and have their mobile farm store open. The staff is amazing and very friendly.
The Flavor of Summer
The best thing about fresh you pick strawberries is the flavor. Store bought strawberries just can not compare. When strawberries are allowed to get fully ripe on the vine they taste so much better. The color is more vibrant, the taste is much sweeter. Also, you get the fun of picking them yourself.
Wrapping it Up
My family has a blast every time that we visit Baety Farms. We have so much fun picking berries.
