Tennessee Cheese Cake

Last year Tennessee Cheese Cake reached out to my business partner Kris D’Amico and me about doing a photoshoot for some of their products. For this particular shoot, Tennessee Cheesecake needed eight products photographed. They needed a simple environmental, a simple plated shot, and an image soon white in packaging for each item. The initial plan was for the client to bring the products over to my studio and for the client to art direct the shoot. When the client arrived they had something pop up so they left me with the product and I photographed everything with the art direction that they left for me. This is a great example of how you need to be able to roll with the punches. Check out the results below!

One of the great things about food and product photography is that we don’t always have to have a huge set. We are not limited by requiring a big crew to be on every shoot. For this simple shoot, I was able to do all the food styling on my own along with the lighting and photography.
