A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to do an editorial photography piece at Omni Hut in Smyrna, Tennessee for Murfreesboro Magazine. Omni Hut is one of the favorite "locals only" restaurants in Nashville. Despite having lived in Nashville since 1998 this was my first trip to Omni Hut. The biggest challenge is that you never know what you are going to get, or how awesome the location may or may not be. The other big challenge is to not eat all of the food... The Diner Nashville is one of the few restaurants in Nashville's downtown core that is open 24 hours a day. Some of my fondest memories for childhood are from going with my Grandmother early in the morning to get donuts from Koehler's Bakery. It has been almost 20 years since I went to Koehler's Bakery, but I can still remember the scent of the bakery it is right next to a laundromat so it has a rather unique smell. When I was a kid I would always get a Long John and to this day it is my favorite.
